The start of something new

So yesterday I flew back to school up in the frigid land of Fairbanks. This was the highlight of my month. Now not only do I get to see all my friends again and do social things, but I have returned to my little land of independence. I eat when I want, do what I want (although I still attend all of my classes), and just enjoy the freedoms of college life. Besides, this puts off having to exist in the working world for as long as possible!

Now some people may wonder why I started writing a blog. I have a strange suspicion that writing every once in a while about my thoughts will help my brain become a little more organized and a little less confuzzled. Plus a couple of my super-awesome friends write some excellent blogs and told me I should try it out (and you should go look at them here and here because they are awesome). My page even has a plant on it and I wish I could have a plant... Until then I have my little solar powered plant that dances in the sunlight and kind of acts like a real plant, just without the growing and care required to survive parts. I think I like the plant picture in the back because its bright and cheery and colorful.

Also, I am one of those crazy students here at UAF. Why do one major when you could do two? Related majors? Nobody does that! Well, maybe some people do but not me. I mean come on, Computer Science and Music are totally similar in the sense that nothing in my course load matches up EVER. But I guess that is the challenge at my feet.

I have accepted it and embrace the new adventures ahead.
